Machine Learning and Human Intelligence: Paediatric Healthcare Disrupted.

SickKids is using artificial intelligence and data science to revolutionize clinical decision making at the patient’s bedside. Their newly-developed data platform is unique in paediatric critical care medicine. Through interactive participation and discussion, Dr. Peter Laussen, Chief of Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Anna Goldenberg, Senior Scientist in the Genetics and Genome Biology Lab at SickKids and Emily Louca, Education Manager at the SickKids Simulation Lab will share SickKids’ leadership in the field demonstrating the necessity for accurate and timely decision-making.

Note: This is taking place at the SickKids Foundation office at 525 University Avenue, 8th floor reception. This is an office building on the SE corner of University and Elm Streets.
